When did we get soooo old!

So I just got back from "Starbucks" night with the girls. First off, we didn't go to Starbucks. Melanie had to switch to Joes because baby boy Fiore was hungry! Secondly, we went to Joe's and we didn't get drinks...even the yummy sounding S'more-tini!!! I had an Earl Grey, Carrie had a coffee, and Melanie ate. SERIOUSLY...when did we get so old?????

This also marked the first time I've ever been to Joe's that I didn't DIVE into the bread/dip. I didn't even look twice at it. This darn South Beach is working!!!!

Let's be Dolphins!

So last night we started back at swimming lessons and water aerobics. In an attempt to avoid being at the Y 3 nights a week, I decided to do my water aerobics class and Aisling's swim lessons back to back. That's all well and good but I realized half way through the day when Michelle mentioned dinner that I hadn't planned out when Aisling would actually EAT. We didn't get home until 8pm. So being the "good" mommy that I am, I gave her one of those to-go packs of cereal and a drinkable yogurt in the car on the way. I really need to come up with a better option. She came home at 8pm after swimming for an hour and a half and was hungry again. So she had a little bowl of homemade soup....by the time she was done that and had a bath, it was after 9pm. Which means AGAIN, she didn't get to bed until after 10pm

As an aside, Miss Claudia made us do that rather pornographic dolphin move again in water aerobics...which means Aisling saw it and was doing it during her "free swim" Thanks Claudia. I absolutely threatened her that when she had children, I'm going to teach them naughty things!

Taste of Disney

Sept 20th, 2008

Well...here is is...my first blog post. As some of you know (and might even be annoyed by!!!!), I'm an avid DISer. I have been having so much fun writing my trip report for our latest trip, that I decided to start a blog so I can bore more people with the mundane details of our life!!!

Today was Aisling's first day of ballet/tap. You can tell that it's her 3rd year of dance because I completely forgot to take any pictures. I always take first day of dance photos. Either she is getting old or I am!!! Aisling had a fantastic time and was very proud to be in the "big girl" class. I really don't know what that means but she was really happy about it!

Last night we had Rob and Jenn over for dinner. It was very sad for me. After a lovely 9 days in Florida, I'm back on South Beach with avengence. So pizza and the wonderful chocolate cream pie from Tripoli's that Jenn and Rob brought was almost too much temptation to handle!

Today I'm getting a lot of online work done. I've started this blog, finally started organizing our Disney vacation photos AND I've been DISing. OH and I started window shopping for Xmas online (what IS window shoppping online called???) Needless to say, Aisling is not here. She is next door at my inlaws making meatballs. Randy is off at the Boston College game. See what happens when people leave me alone??????
